Kai Lenny and Annabel Anderson Are the 2012 Stand Up World Series Champs

Kai Lenny and Annabel Anderson are the undisputed 2012 Waterman League World Tour champs. Kai has claimed the Stand Up World Series title for the third time in a row, proving that he is the “best paddler in the world” as Battle of the Paddle Champ Danny Ching calls him. The young, but complete athlete proved his skills in both wave and race competition and claimed the World title.

Annabel’s performance also crowns a year of hard work and awesome achievements. She also won the Battle of the Paddle two weeks ago in Dana Point. This is the inaugural Standup World Series title for her, but we are sure that many others will follow.

Both riders won the Distance and Sprint challenges of Standup World Series Final in the Turtle Bay on the North Shore of Oahu during the Standup World Series Finals and were crowned champs. Congratulations to them and to all of the other SUP athletes involved in this event.
