Kai Lenny Claims the 2015 SUWS Title

After winning Stop #4 on the 2015 World Series at Turtle Bay, Kai Lenny has secured the 2015 SUWS Title. Turtle Bay was quite a challenge. Connor Baxter put an incredible pressure on Kai after winning the Long Distance on Day 1, but in the Hawaiian waterman Kai stormed into a lead during Sprint Racing to secure his Seventh World Title.

The elite riders performed outstanding in the 12 mile Sprint challenge, battling in unfavorable conditions and staging an incredible show. Kai proved to be the best once again, winning the challenge and the SUWS Title. He joins 2015 women’s champion, Candice Appleby, who found her crown during the U.S. Open of SUP in Huntington Beach a couple of weeks ago.
