SUP Against Depression with Will Schmidt

Will Schmidt, a well known Southern California Lifestyle SUP Athlete, has teamed up with the guys at Infinity SUP, in order to set on a new challenge called "Stand Up Paddle Against Depression: The Journey Continues!"

The Californian attempts a solo open ocean stand up paddle journey that will take him from Oxnard, CA all the way to Dana Point. Before landing in Dana Point, he will touch all eight Channel Islands. This is the first attempt of this kind. Schmidt uses solely 14' Infinity race boards and will travel roughly 320 nautical miles.

The journey already started, as Will has already traveled to Channel Islands Harbor has set on this incredible adventure. In his journey, Will is escorted by the "Campbell Sloop", a 34' Catalina Sailboat which can aid hem in case he needs help.

This is a fundraiser project and all proceeds will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project to aid in anxiety, depression, and PTSD research as well as Casa Hogar Orphanage in Mexico.
