Tidal Bore Magic in France

Tidal bores are like the beautiful freaks of Mother Nature. Perfectly glassy waves that travel up rivers for miles, never breaking or faltering. Recently, Ludovic Dulou decided to he would ride one of these gifts of nature. But instead of a traditional surfboard or kayak, Dolor’s craft of choice was a foil surfboard.
It was a good choice.
He would ride the bore–which was located near France’s Bordeaux region–for over four miles and reach incredible speeds of over 25 miles per hour. Check out this beautiful footage of him carving and flying above the sheet of glass.
Enjoy!
