Dane Reynolds to Join the Surfers’ Hall of Fame

Dane Reynolds, the young surfer from Ventura, California is considered one of the most progressive and creative surfers in the world. His daring style, featuring amazing experimental and aerial maneuvers, made him unique. Born in 1985, Dane Reynolds started surfing at the age of 10, after moving from Bakersfield to Ventura. He discovered the secrets of surfing around the point breaks around Santa Barbara and felt in love with this sport.

Dane stars in many spectacular videos and received prestigious awards in competitions like the X Games or the World Tour. Talking about surfing, Dane says: “Surfing is my passion in life”, and he says it from the heart.  We are proud to announce that Dane is among the 2012 inductees for the Surfers’ Hall of Fame. This is an honor awarder to those people who helped the development and growth of surfing into the admired and loved sport today. The induction ceremony will take place on the 3rd of August in front of Huntington Surf & Sport.

Aaron Pai, Huntington Surf & Sport owner, stated: “Dane Reynolds is the most exciting Freesurfer in the world today and many of our young surfers wanted him in the Surfers' Hall of Fame this year. We are honored and very excited to induct him into the Surfers' Hall of Fame!”
