it goes very smooth over chop, the speed and acceleration are "sick", it will outrun most of the others easily when kited with power.it is a great board for carving extreme flat u-turns and for making big airs.
small note :due to it's bigger rocker/scoop and rounded outline, it is like a banana, you can not sail it sharp/upwind! and you need a few knots more to start planning (compared with the trax 6). it is also a bit stiffer then the trax 6 but it feels very direct and positive.
