Dominik Guehrs Wins the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Series

The German rider Dominik Guehrs has won the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Championships and the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Series. This performance has been achieved before only by the American rider Tom Fooshee.

The final battle for the title took place at the Al Forsan International Sports Resort in Abu Dhabi, UAE, between the 7th and the 10th of December. All the performers managed to pull off some spectacular moves, but Guehrs, von Osten, and Daniel Grant were the most amazing riders.

At the end of the competition, Dominik Guehrs managed to surpass his opponents and win the championship and the series. Dominik had a modest performance at the beginning, but as soon as he got used to the competition atmosphere he started to perform more and more spectacular. His amazing performance brought him the 2011 WWA Wake Park World Series and the WWA Wake Park World Championships title at the age of 21.

A few days before the championship, Dominik Guehrs stated: "I have to win Worlds to win both (Wake Park Worlds & Wake Park World Series). Winning Worlds is what I will focus on." It seems that he has done exactly what he has set his mind on. He is a very talented rider and we are sure that his performance will not stop here. We are waiting forward to see him performing in upcoming season.
