Fight against Cystic Fibrosis alongside Nicola Butler

Cystic Fibrosis is a terrible disease with a life expectancy of 35. On the 26th of February, the world of wakeboarding lost a very special person due to this disease: Cianne Naji. She was born with this disease, but had the courage to fight it all of her life. During her short 21 years, Ci accomplished so much, more than most people do.

Wakeboarding was her true passion. She was an Irish National Champion and ranked top 10 in the world between 2009 and 2011. As her disease worsened, she was forced to quit wakeboarding and turned to her love for art. She started her own line of apparel and shoes, Breathe Boardwear, dedicated to girls that shared her passion for boardsports.

Nicola Butler, who was a friend of Cianne and shares the same passion for wakeboarding, has been working with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Orlando, her sponsors, and other board companies to set up a raffle in memory of Ci. You can also join this awesome initiative by making a minimum donation of $10. All proceeds will go towards finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis and you’ll have the chance to win some pretty cool stuff. CWB, Ronix, Liquid Force, O’Brien, Oakley and Breathe Boardwear have all donated gear to make sure you win nice prizes.

To help Nicola fight against Cystic Fibrosis and to honor Cianne Naji’s memory, you can donate by following this link. The winners of the raffle will be selected on the 17th of March.
