Malibu Unveils the 2013 Wakesetter 24 MXZ at Surf Expo

Malibu Boats, one of the premier watersports towboats designers and manufacturers in the world, could not miss Surf Expo, the largest expo event dedicated to waters sports, held these days in Orlando, Florida. And the Malibu Boats team is proud to introduce a new state-of-the-art craft at this event, the new 2013 Wakesetter 24 MXZ. The 2013 Wakesetter 24 MXZ follows the 22 MXZ,launched last year at Surf Expo, a boat which has become the fastest-selling new boat launch in Malibu’s history.

Some of the features of the new 2013 Wakesetter 24 MXZ include: a dual-purpose built-in cooler featuring an oversized drop-in cooler and expanded storage, flip-up Wakeview seating, the Malibu uniqe Surf Gate technology, Mobile Device Gateway based on Bluetooth tech, plug-and-play ballast and more.

Scott Davenport, Malibu Director of Sales, says: “The addition of the 24 MXZ to our wildly successful MXZ family will maximize the boating experience in the large boat, pickle-fork market. This boat is for a big crew that attacks every activity imaginable. And, thanks to Surf Gate, we’ve significantly reduced the time it takes to switch between these activities, letting our customers focus on watersports versus boat setup”, and Dan Gasper, Director of Product Design, added: “We have designed the 24 MXZ for big lakes and variable water conditions, or any situations where you have a large group of your closest friends and family.”

If you visit Surf Expo these days, make sure to drop by the Malibu booth (#307) and take a look at all of their new gear. Until then, you can watch the new Wakesetter 24 MXZ in action in the clip below.
