When it has created the 2009 Cross, Exocet has focused on control, speed and power. It has done an awesome job and the result is a board that performs exceptionally at early planning, freestyle and wave riding. Not only that the board is very efficient, but it is also affordable so it makes a great choice for any rider that wishes to experience some quality wave riding, but doesn’t wish to spend a lot of money. The shape is constructed on the V pattern, and combined with the enhanced rail maximizes traction and delivers impressive top speeds and power. The board is also responsive and behaves predictable so it is great for high jumps and tricks. Great for early planning and freestyle or waveriding, the Exocet Cross has outstanding upwind abilities. It offers fast turns and rotations and it is always stable and extremely maneuverable. A very well distributed volume enhances floatability, so the board performs great even for heavier riders and in rough conditions.

Comfort has not been overlooked by Exocet, and the Double Density Shock Absorber system has been implemented for a smooth and enjoyable ride. Exocet Cross comes in two versions, the standard and the Pro Model one. The standard version is constructed using carbon and wood composites, while the Pro Model is built with Technora and biaxial carbon fabrics. The Technora and biaxial carbon construction results in a lower weight, therefore the Pro Model is great for extreme and hardcore riders that demand additional power and speed. Both models perform efficient in light wind or in gusty weather.

The Exocet Cross is available in 84, 94, 106 and 118 liters volume and 232x56, 239x59, 242x64 and 243x69 centimeters sizes. For optimal performance, Exocet recommends that the board should be used with a 3.3 to 8.0 meter sail.

Doesn't go upwind very fast, and it is quite difficult to handle in big winds. Other than that it has good acceleration and feels stable.

The cross runs fine once you get it upwind. It is fast, turns excellent and has a good speed. You don’t need a large sail which pulls like a truck to get it speeding or perform tricks. It is a light board which allows you to handle it with e...more
