Fanatic loves to see today’s kids turn to future champs and windsurfing pros, so it has created the perfect board for them. After all, you can’t put a child onto a large board designed for adults, because you lower his chances of reaching high performance. Kids need a board for kids, and that is why Fanatic has come up with the Ripper, which has all the performance of a full size board, in a scaled down size one, perfect for the young, light sailor.

The Ripper features a longer shape with a longer outline and a soft rocker that permits the young sailor to reach decent speeds even in light wind. The profile is hydrodynamic and compact, to permit the young sailor to steer the board very easy in any conditions. Softer rails have been used to make the board very forgiving and assure constant performance even if the wind picks up. The great thing about the Ripper is that it can be used by intermediate riders as a great freeriding board. This is possible due to the foot straps positioning options and adjustable fin setup. Although it is an entry level board for children, the Ripper has enough power for early planning and quick acceleration. To keep the young sailor comfortable at all times Fanatic has used an EVA soft deck and soft foot straps. The Ripper is perhaps one of the easiest to use board, and the rider has an excellent control no mater want maneuvers he performs. The volume is carefully spread from the tail to the tip to make the board as stable and balanced as possible. Great board to learn windsurfing or high performance board for freeriding, the Fanatic Ripper is a great choice when it comes to children.

The Ripper is imprinted with unique red, orange and silver white graphics which make it stand out in the crowd. It is only available in 102 liters volume and 69.5x239 centimeters size and offers optimal performance when it is used with the Fanatic Ripper fin and a 2.0 to 8.0 meters sail.

Ripper is a good board for both kids, but also for light weight sailors. It is compact and light, but you can get it to run pretty fast and jump decently. It is stable and holds a good grip. It can actually give you a good boost for tricks. I like...more
