When it comes to pro windsurfing JP Australia makes no compromises and develops only high performance boards that meet the needs of the most demanding riders. The new 2008 Pro Wave is here to replace another great wave board, the Radical Wave. The Radical Wave models were very successful boards, but the new Pro Wave is even better and uses new technology and concepts to take wave riding at whole new levels.

Built on a similar pattern with the discontinued Radical Wave, the Pro Wave remains a quite aggressive board best suited for advanced and experienced riders. The board features a narrower shape and not very long outline, which make it hydrodynamic and compact. Therefore it offers a fast and drag free glide. An enhanced rocker and concave section in the tail maximize the power release and offer perfect early planning and upwind abilities. The rider can experience high jumps and extreme tricks easy and without effort. A full concave bottom and improved rails offer extra acceleration but also increase the grip and stability. The board delivers fast and tight turns and rotations but remains reliable and predictable the whole time. A great thing about the JP Pro Wave is that once powered up it is able to maintain a constant speed for a long time and even between the most hardcore moves. With this incredible agile and powerful board the rider can tackle any wave without problems. JP has also focused on maneuverability and the board offers a responsive and accurate control even in the worst possible condition or when the sail is overpowered. The rider can enjoy extra comfort due to the use of soft pads and flexible, easy to adjust foot straps.

The JP Pro Wave comes in Pro Edition, built on Biax Carbon composites, construction which makes it extremely light and very durable at the same time. For optimal efficiency the manufacturer recommends Pro Wave fins and a 4.2 to 6.2 meters wide sail, depending on the board volume and size.
