A new series of Tabou boards are ready to revolutionize windsurfing world in 2012. The boards are crafted using a new technology which assures top performance out on the waves. The new Pocket Wave is a powerful board which excels in real world wave conditions. This means that it is fast and accurate and can be handled without hassle in most conditions. The board is engineered using a hydrodynamic shape which assures a fast and smooth glide. The wide middle point makes the board steady, while the wider nose allows the rider to tackle any wave without problems.

This shape also makes the board loose and agile and allows the rider to use it forward and backward without hassle. A new rocker line assures a faster top speed and quick acceleration. It also propels the board upwind very easy and assures better planning potential. A swallow shaped tail assures excellent release and significantly improve the board’s bottom turning performance. The Tabou Pocket Wave has a special bottom design which generates a very fluid drive and keeps it stable in most wave conditions.

The Pocket Wave uses a thruster fin setup which assures excellent speed and minimizes drag. This fin setup also provides a nice lift when needed. The board can also be used with a single fin setup by riders that like to sail in bump and jump conditions. Tabou has engineered the Pocket Wave using the new FlexLight technology, based on a based on an EPS core combined with fiberglass and PVC layups plus wood reinforcements. This structure generates a optimal flex pattern and makes the board very responsive.

The Pocket runs well in onshore conditions when it is in thruster mode. It has a flattened rocker and a swallow tail which make it faster and push it quicker on a plane. The board has good upwind tracking. It is great for sailors who ride in real wor...more
