Point-7 Brings Famous French Freestyler on its Black Team

A famous French freestyle windsurfer with great results on the PWA World Tour has joined the Black Team, Italian windsurfing equipment manufacturer Point-7 announced on Wednesday, April 11, 2012. The name of the freestyle in question is, drum rolls please, Nicolas Akgazciyan (F-400), the 2010 European Freestyle Pro Tour vice-champion from Leucate.

Here is what Nicolas had to say about joining Point-7’s Black Team:
“Making the decision to join Point-7′s team one month before the 1st PWA event was a bit cheeky… but I like challenges! I talked to Pascal Toselli and Andrea Cucchi and we really had a good feeling about this. They are dynamic and do a lot for the team and for the brand. Cohesion and solidarity are the key ideas! I feel at ease and I really like the spirit of being part of this united family! It’s a real force!”

And here is what Point-7’s Andrea Cucchi had to say about Nicolas joining the team:
“We are very excited to welcome Nico. It’s not only the fact that Nico is a great freestyler on our team, but it’s the whole project behind it. It’s a new challenge for Point-7 and we love this! Development to a very dedicated and innovative sail and a new section of freestyle on our academy team site are the first steps. We are working to present this new sail for the first PWA Freestyle event in Austria. Not much time left, but let’s see if we can push for it!”
