Robby Naish in Manhattan this Friday for Charity Initiative

Representatives of internationally renowned equipment manufacturer Naish International announced that the man, the legend, Robby Naish will be in Manhattan this Friday. Robby Naish and Edwin van der Sar, former Manchester United goalkeeper, will visit the American SCORES community sports project in New York City. Robby Naish and Edwin van der Sar will challenge a group of Harlem youngsters to a soccer penalty kick shootout.

The Manhattan visit marks the launch of a partnership between the Laureus Sport for Good Foundation and Coach Across America (CAA).

The Laureus Sport for Good Foundation is a charitable initiative that uses the positive influence of sport to tackle society's most pressing challenges around the world. It uses sport as the means to combat some of the toughest social challenges facing young people today, like HIV/AIDS, substance abuse, crime, social exclusion, violence, discrimination and health problems.

Coach Across America (CAA) is the organization through which Laureus will fund 115 coaches to go into 45 sports-based youth projects in some of the most disadvantaged areas of Manhattan.
