KA Kaos 2011

The KA sails are well known for the top quality and performance they offer. In 2011 the KA team is back with a new series of sails, intended to offer better performance and improve the riding experience of all windsurfers out there. The Kaos has always been KA’s premier wave sail. The new 2011 model is fine tuned to take wave style to an entire new level.

The Kaos has an aerodynamic shape which instantly turns wind into power. The power delivery is well balanced and the sail reacts accurately to rider input. It feels neutral on the waves and always keeps the rider in control. The luff curve and batten tapers have been redesigned to offer better power delivery. The Kaos has a sharper edge which allows it to cut through the wind at fast speeds. The new twin eyelets improve the sail’s performance in high winds. A five battens skeleton keeps the sail stable on the water surface and allows the rider to handle it without hassle. The moderate seem shaping assures optimal power and handling.

A double Dacron luff power provides instant depower when needed. KA has constructed the Kaos using a full X-Ply structure complemented by low stretch Aramid reinforcements in critical areas. This construction makes the sail durable and very light. The sail provides instant power and depower, it is easy to operate and fun to ride. It is the perfect wave weapon for all riders out there. It can be used in competitions as well as for casual cruises and handles tough surf conditions with ease. The KA Kaos is available in 3.7 up to 5.7 square meters sizes and comes with adjustable or fixed head depending on size.
