Windsurfing is a fun and spectacular extreme sport which gathers a huge number of fans. Some of them are pro riders who live to win world class competitions and others enjoy a relaxing cruise and are looking for a fun drive out on the waves. The Sailworks Ripper is especially crafted for the second category. It is a very forgiving and user friendly sail which suits beginner and novice riders.

The Ripper is also a great sailing machine for kids and lighter riders. It is engineered using a scaled down pattern of a high performance larger sail, so it has the power to keep up with the rider as he progresses and demands more power. The sail is easy to rig and operate so it is a perfect choice for those who wish to pick up the basics of windsurfing fast and safe and enjoy a fun ride. The sail is easy to power up and easy to handle. It always keeps the rider in control. A robust four battens skeleton keeps the draft stable at all times.

Screw Batten Tensioners allow the rider to set the batten pressure according to his needs. The Sailworks Ripper has a smooth power delivery and glides very nice across the water. The Ripper is constructed using a robust full X-Ply body. This structure makes it light, but also very durable. The sail can take all the possible punishment without suffering any damage. The Sailworks Ripper is available in 1.2 up to 4.2 square meters sizes and can be purchased as a complete package together with a fiberglass Ripstick RDM mast and light, small diameter boom.

It looks like a scaled down Retro. Feels like one too. My kids use it. A good sail for lightweight riders and ligth winds.
