The new Simmer Style sails are ready to start the 2012 windsurfing season in full throttle. They are engineered using a new technology which allows them to offer unmatched performance out on the water. The Blacktip is one of the most versatile wave sails crafted by Simmer Style team. It uses a compact outline which generates a good power delivery and assures optimal maneuverability.

The lower aspect ratio allows the rider to generate the right amount of power exactly when needed and assures better control. At the same time, the sail has increased profile stability due to the use of two Kevlar stretch control tendons. A four batten skeleton adds extra stability and makes the sail easy to handle in most wind and wave conditions. The Simmer Style Blacktip can produce excellent low end power for early planning. At the same time it is very easy to control due to the use of a shorter boom and high cut foot. A wider sleeve generates superior front end drive and improves top speed and acceleration.

The Simmer Style Blacktip can be easily depowered when needed. When depowered, it feels very forgiving and it is extremely easy to maneuver. The Blacktip runs very smooth and has a very nice power delivery. At the same time it can produce an extra amount of power when piloted by hardcore riders that enjoy high speed and spectacular tricks. Simmer Style has crafted the Blacktip using an X-Ply and monofilm structure, complemented by additional Kevlar reinforcements in critical areas. This construction makes the sail incredible light and durable and assures better reflex.  The sail is perfect for radical riders that enjoy aggressive down the line wave sailing.
