The 2010 Blade by Severne is created to deliver enhanced power and control. These two concepts are successfully blended to bring a high performance windsurfing sail on the market. The Blade uses a classic shape featuring a deep draft, to deliver a good amount of power for high speeds or acrobatic moves. The full X-ply construction significantly lowers the sail’s weight and makes it extremely durable. Also, due to the lightweight feature the sail is very easy to handle and control. A middle size boom and a longer luff increase acceleration and offer a balanced power delivery. The Severne Blade can be also tuned for more or less power, depending on riding style or on rider’s preferences. The X-ply design makes the sail very flexible and soft out on the water, but also very controllable. The sail is reinforced with Kevlar materials so it can suffer any punishment without taking significant damage. The Dacron luff panel and the Aramid Radial Clew offer a smooth power boost and allows the rider to control the sail very easy even when it is overpowered or in high winds.

The Severne Blade is available in 3.0 to 6.2 meter sizes, and depending on the model size uses adjustable or fixed heads. All models are built on a five battens configuration.
