To be a great freerider means to ride fast, to pull out extreme tricks, perform aggressive moves and push windsurfing limits to new levels. Severne is aware of that, and that is why it has released the ultimate freeride sail. The 2010 Gator has an extended boom and a power lock feature that offers the rider just the right amount of fuel to reach top speeds and accelerate in no time. The edge and shape outline are engineered to make the Gator extremely aerodynamic to take advantage of any wind blow. Another important feature is maneuverability. Wll balanced power delivery combined with a smooth skin tension offer the rider a smooth and precise control and allows the Gator to turn fast and offer a comfortable ride. Steering, power up and depower option are easy accessible and can be done without any effort and even at high speeds the sail feels predictable and offers a drag free glide. Even if it is reinforced with Kevlar head patches and an Aramid frame, the Severne Gator keeps a lightweight feeling and it very easy to handle. Easy to rig and to set up, easy to handle in almost any wind condition, the Severne Gator is a great freeride sail for any rider, regardless of skill level.

To cover a large wind range, the Gator comes in 3.7 to 8.0 meter sizes. It uses a no cam design for enhanced usability, and depending on the model size, adjustable or fixed heads and five or six battens configuration.
